Award - Toyota Global Hackathon
🏆 Champion & Fan Favorite - 2025
Led the Movement MudaZero initiative to victory at the 2025 Toyota Swarm Global Hackathon, earning both Champion and Fan Favorite awards among 17 international teams. As team captain, I proposed the original concept, directed its implementation as a working tech demo, and delivered the final pitch. The project exemplified Toyota’s principles of kaizen and innovation through data-driven movement optimization. This achievement showcased my leadership, systems thinking, and ability to unite diverse talent around a shared vision in an intensely competitive, fast-paced environment.
🏆 Fan Favorite - 2024
Recognized as Fan Favorite among over 20 competing teams at Toyota’s Swarm Global Hackathon for the development and presentation of VIA (Vehicle Intelligence Agent) — an innovative concept I originated to enhance driver-vehicle interaction through intelligent, context-aware assistance. As a first-time participant, I led the team’s technical direction and presented the idea in a high-pressure, “Shark Tank”–style pitch to a panel of senior and executive level judges. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, lead under intense deadlines, and inspire collaboration in a global innovation environment.
Award - Mentoring
🏆 Arnold C. Meltzer Award - Travel Trails Senior Design Group Mentor
I mentored a group of seniors for their senior design project in the 2022-2023 academic year for my alma mater George Washington University. I met weekly with the team to provide guidance, advice, and lead the team towards a path of success.
At the end of the year, the Travel Trails group received the Arnold C. Meltzer Award for best overall senior design project. While the team accounted for a majority of the hard work involved, I would like to think my leadership efforts helped more clearly guide them towards this accomplishment.
See the Travel Trails website here. My acknowledgement as mentor is at the footer.
